Summary
The Trends Report will show you how affiliates or campaigns perform over a period of time. The purpose of the report is to allow you to examine campaign and affiliate trend as well as performance.
Data Presentation
Data is presented on the main screen via graphs for daily, weekly and 30 day totals based on the top 5 performers for the criteria defined in the filter bar. Enhanced filtering options are available to show different types of data on the graphs. The options available are individual or grouped affiliates, individual or grouped categories, display values including payout, pay in, conversion and sales, currency, and report type based on affiliate or campaign. Just as many reports in the New Admin, this report can be bookmarked. You can see the dollar amount of each item in each chart by hovering over each individual item. When selecting other filtering options other than the default, users can select the check box next to “Show Tabular Data” for the details of the report to pop up.
Details of data are presented on a tabular form and can also be accessed by clicking on “View Details”. Details also have the same enhanced filtering options as the screen where graphs are found. The options available are date range, individual or grouped affiliates, individual or grouped categories, display values including payout, pay in, conversion and sales, currency, and report type based on affiliate or campaign. Additionally, this report is exportable to Excel. As an added feature on reporting on the New Admin, you can book mark this report, so if you know you are going to be running a report with specific criterion, you can book mark it and be able to access it by the click of a mouse!
The colors on screen represent whether the affiliate or campaign has earned/paid or converted more or less than the previous day. Red represents less and green represents more. The percentage column will compare that day’s data with the previous day’s data. Users can click on any of the values that show at the top of the report to sort by ascending or descending order.
Tip: If you are looking to group stats by week or month to compare trends on week by week or month to month basis, this report allows you to group by week/month inside of the trend details.
