Global Affiliates Report

Written by

This reports shows you stats for all affiliates across all campaigns. The report looks very similar to the Global Sales Report. The report defaults to today and is exportable to Excel or as CSV.

The radio buttons allow you to select from multiple pre-set time frames Today, Yesterday, Month To Date (will show you how much traffic and how much earnings we are projecting for the network), Last Month To Date (last month for the same period), Last Month, Year To Dare, Current Week (Monday through Today) and Last Week (Last Monday through Last Sunday) You can also choose the run the report for custom date ranges. Users can run the report to view it on screen or export it to Excel or as CSV.

The report has two filter options Affiliate Group and Campaign Group. Filters are useful to see specific stats for a group. The report displays on screen the Affiliate’s Name, the number of Clicks and Sales, Conversion Percentage (sales/clicks), EPC (earnings per click), Amount Paid, Amount Earned and Net. All of these items are clickable, and can also be sorted by ascending or descending order.

You can see more details of the Campaign’s traffic by clicking on the plus signs located next to the affiliate ID. The details shown are the campaign(s) that the Affiliate has driven traffic for. One can click on the underlined number under Clicks or Sales to see the Clicks Detail Report or Sales Detail Report.

After clicking on number of clicks, a new window with the Clicks Detail report will pop up. You can run a Clicks Detail report for a custom date range if desired. Similar to many reports, in the Beta Admin, Clicks Detail Reports can be bookmarked. The Clicks Detail report offers multiple grouping functions. The report can be grouped by Hit Date, Hit Date Hourly, C1,C2, C3 or Affiliate ID. The grouping functionality allows a user to group the report and see how many times the system has seen that item for the date range. The Clicks Detail Report can be exported to Excel.

The Clicks Detail Report shows the Hit Date and Time, the Affiliate ID that drove the traffic, the Affiliate’s Name, Sub id variables C1,C2 and C3. The report also shows the IP address of the click , the Hit ID, Referrer (if we were able to capture one), whether the click is a sale, and the count (useful for multi sales campaigns). The report will show information about the IP address of the click/sales such as whether the IP address is a proxy server, Netspeed, ISP. The report also provides you with Geographic Information on the IP address such as Country, Region/State, City, Zip Code and Time Zone. A user can click on the Referring Domain and be able to see the entire referring domain.

To be able to view the Sales Detail report a user must click on the underlined number corresponding to the campaign’s sales. The Sales Detail report also offers the option for a user to group his data by Sale Date, Sale Date Hourly, C1,C2, C3 and Affiliate ID. A user can run this report for a custom date range and export this report to Excel or as CSV.

The Sales Detail Report shows you similar data as the Clicks Detail Report with a few more items. Within the report it is included the Hit Date and Time, the Sale Date and Time, Elapsed Time (the time from the moment that a click occurs and the sale occurs), the Hit ID, C1,C2 and C3, the Affiliate’s ID, the Affiliate’s name, Sales (this is relevant in regards to multi sales campaigns where multiple sales are allowed on a single redirection), Paid amount to the affiliate (there may be an override in place for affiliates so amount can differ between affiliates), Earned Amount, and Net Amount. The report also shows a transaction IDs for sales (only if the advertiser was passing one) and Referrer if we were able to capture one.
