Device Targeting enables you to define routes according to device type. Some landing pages are not designed with tablet or smartphone users in mind, resulting in a lower-quality experience for tablet or smartphone users which leads to a higher likelihood that the user will bail without converting. Exploit this powerful feature to route such users to appropriate landing pages, boosting user experience and campaign conversion rates.

Adding Device Routes
Navigate to Campaigns>Maintenance then use the Gear Icon to access "Device Targeting". Click on "+ Add New Target". Enter a title for the "Device Targeting" mapping. Then select a campaign from "Alternate Redirect" drop down menu and check one or multiple devices that you want to send traffic from to the alternate redirect campaign, and click "Add" to save that part of the mapping. Continue to add other alternate redirect campaigns and device target combos. Entries will populate below on screen. Delete and replace them later if needed.
Using Device Targeting
To apply your Device Targeting at campaign level, go to Campaigns>Maintenance tab 4. Targeting. Set the Device Targeting radio button to "Yes", then select your Device Targeting mapping from the Routing Group drop down.
Finally, make your decision as to whether the originating affiliate whose traffic is redirected due to Device Targeting should be credited for sales on the alternate campaign. When Pay Affiliate is set as "No" the admin account ending in 001 will be credited with the redirected traffic (both clicks and subsequent sales). When Pay Affiliate is set as 'Yes' the affiliate that originated the traffic will be credited as usual.
